5 simple ways to hit refresh and feel your best
The first week of 2025 is here, can you believe it?! Instead of "starting the year off strong", we're making a case to soften and pause first. Even, and especially, when life is full and loud.
So we asked our friend Britt @bewellwithbritt_, who's a mental health speaker and fantastic Pilates teacher, to share 5 easy ways to hit refresh and feel your best as you slow into the new year.
Enjoy her 5 tips below 💕 Here's to doing hard things, gently.
1️⃣ Set a Workout Routine You Love
Start small—commit to working out just twice a week. My top pick is Pilates (don’t forget your favorite grip socks, I love the palm Shorties!), plus a day of strength training to mix things up. This combo is exciting, sustainable, and amazing for both your body and mind!
2️⃣ Create Phone-Free Zones
Unwind by putting your phone away 30 minutes before bed and keeping your mornings tech-free. A little digital detox can do wonders for your focus and overall well-being.
3️⃣ Take Social Media Breaks
Unplug for a day each week—or even just a few hours. Add this break to your calendar to hold yourself accountable. If a full day feels like too much, start with 30-minute breaks and build from there. You’ll be amazed at how refreshed you’ll feel!
4️⃣ Go for Walks
Walking isn’t just great for your body—it’s incredible for your mind. Spend 20 minutes reconnecting with yourself and the world around you. Feeling anxious? A quick walk can work wonders.
5️⃣ Call Someone You Love
Whether it’s your mom, dad, grandparents, or bestie, take a moment to connect with someone who matters. Feeling supported and loved fuels every area of your life. No matter how hectic things get, prioritize these moments of connection—they’re priceless.
Now go hit refresh—you’ve got this! 💫
